My colleagues and I have formed a women's team for our company's Vertical Challenge. Participants are required to climb the stairs to 25 storey. The run was for the President's Challenge Charity, all the proceedings go to the charity.
The run was held on 22nd Sep but I was sick on Monday (21st Sep), too weak to participate in the run. So I was MC on that day. Felt regret for not taking good care of myself and let my colleagues down. Luckily, my supervisor replaced me and took part the run with the rest of the team members.
They did not win anything as they were in the 4th position, 1 sec difference from the 3rd postition. One of my colleagues who was ambitious to win felt sad because of the 1 sec difference. she felt that the organizer might calculate the timing wrongly or mix up with their timings. I told her we can try again next year if she want. She said she don't want to participate next year because it wasn't as fun as she thought.
Before the weekend, we even sent emails to everyone in our department to encourage them to pledge for us, to support us. We were in the 3rd position for being the highest pledge team, however, the word 'highest' means only the first position is entitled to win. No prize for the runner-ups. =( The total pledges for our team were over 500++, but the total pledges for the first position were 900++.
Anyway, this is for the charity and thanks for everyone who supported us..
Know this website from mypaper's introduction. Specially for Ladies~
The website talks about your 28-day cycle (your period, pre-ovulation, post-ovulation and pre-menstrual) with information on how your hormones (estrogen, progesterone) changes, when do you experience PMS (mood swings, bloating, irritability), when is your sensitivity to pain is low, etc. I find it quite useful to me as I can refer to their calendar to find out what can I expect on each of these 28 days. But of course, every girl's different, so is only for our own reference.
Have been learning Korean from Youtube since last friday, so far I have learned the 14 consonants, 10 basic vowels and syllable construction. The reading of those syllables is quite easy if you know the consonants and the vowels.
I'm going to learn the 11 complex vowels today.. which I find it tough..
Wish me Happy Learning~!! =)

Last friday evening, I went to HMV and bought BOF OST Part 2 (Taiwan edition). The taiwan edition has 9 postcards, 1 F4 red card and 2 clear folders with BOF pictures. I think with the 2 clear folders included makes it more worthy as previously I bought 1 BOF clear folder at comic connection and it costs $5.00!
My company's recreation club has this ASA card where you can visit a list of interest places either at discounted rate or absolutely FREE. So I went to apply for the card 2 to 3 months ago and was given priority to first-timer like me. My boyfriend and I decided to go Sentosa and Singapore Flyer on that day.
In the morning, we went to collect the card at the recreation club at Braddell Road and took MRT from Serangoon Station to Harbourfront Station. We took the cable car at the Harbourfront centre to Sentosa. When we reached there, first thing we played was the luge follow by the Skyride.
After the Skyride, we went to Sentosa 4D matrix and the 4D is really amazing.. You can really feel the object very near you. When the character in the show jumped into the water, they have special effects like spraying water, vibrate your seat and even air blow your hair when there is wind blowing. After the 4D show, we went to Butterfly Park and Images of Singapore. Around 12.30PM, we took our lunch at the restaurant - Taste of Singapore. 1 bowl of sliced fish bee hoon costs $7.50 and a bottle of Pokka Green Tea costs $4.50. So expensive but no choice, we were hungry. After lunch, we went to Merlion and took some photos at the head gallery.
After Merlion, we took red line bus to Underwater World and it was very crowded. The last time I went to Underwater was 3 years ago and now they have already renovated the place. You can even feed/touch the fish by putting your hand into the hole of the fish tank. Amazing. We also went to Dolphin Lagoon but the place was too crowded and was difficult to see the dolphin performing. So just before the show ended, we went off and took the bus back to Fort Siloso (near Underwater world). The Fort Siloso trip took us 1 hour and 30 mins to finish and I felt that those stuffs they exhibit was quite interesting like currency notes used during the Japanese Occupation, bue license card, rental receipt and etc.
Around 5.30PM, we took the cable car back to Harbourfront station and took the MRT to Dhoby Ghaut Station. We took a bus to Singapore Flyer and went to Popeye restaurant for our dinner before the Flyer ride.
After the ride, we took a bus back to the recreation club to return the card and took a bus back home. Although it's abit troublesome to collect and return the card, I think it is still worth it as overall I saved one hundred plus and my bus fare only costs me less than 10 bucks lo... whahaha~
P/S: Happy National Day everyone!!

"Why Why Love" and "Devil Beside You" by Mike He and Rainie Yang
I have been watching this 2 drama series since last week. I'm done with "Why Why Love" and now I'm watching "Devil Beside You", the main casts for both drama are the same - starred by Mike He, Rainie Yang and Kingone Wang. Both the storyline have some similarities like 1) Mike He is always the bad guy bullying Rainie Yang and in the end falling in love with her; 2) Kingone Wang's love is rejected by Rainie Yang; and 3) Rainie Yang initially dislike Mike He but realise he is not bad after all and in the end crazily in love with him. Although the casts are the same, both the drama series are not related. "Why Why Love" is not the sequel for "Devil Beside You", so don't be confused. =)
